20 The Accounting Historians Notebook, October 2007 CALL FOR PAPERS AN INTERACTION: THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND ACCOUNTING HISTORY A Conference Jointly Sponsored by the Academy of Accounting Historians and the Public Interest Section of the American Accounting Association Friday and Saturday, April 11-12, 2008 Hyatt Crystal City at Reagan National Airport 2799 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia, USA 22202 The Public Interest Section of the American Accounting Association and the Academy of Accounting Historians invite accounting faculty and doctoral students to submit papers for presentation at a jointly sponsored conference. Papers appropriate for this conference are those which relate to public interest topics, accounting history topics or both areas of scholarship.
