Filled with anxiety as I am about your health, I,"

I hope and trust Pa, that your health is yet improving and by
little precaution and by holding some restraint over your
passions you may never have another attack like the ones you
had a few days before I left. It is with difficulty that
I could get my consent to leave you. I felt as if I was
parting with you never to meet you again. But I hope
such is not the case, for nothing would bring greater joy to my
heart than to know that you are well. I received a letter
from Sister yesterday & answered it this morning. She is well and does
not wish to come home yet, unless you are anxious to see
