My Dear Sister,)
From the appearance of this you'll perceive
that I have arrived in safety at home. In accordance
with your request I enquired in the office for your
letter before I left Oxford, and sure enough I got
it, I got home on Friday morning but through neglect
have not attempted to reply to your last until now- "(Wednesday)" I was out to Church, at Richland on Sunday
where I had the pleasure of meeting many of my
old friends, and among the number Joe, B. Pickeus()
who was deranged when I saw him last. He is
looking quite well, and seems to have his sen-
ses as well as ever he did. My friends were all
so glad to see me that they could not think of
letting me go home to dinner, so after many
very pressing invitations I concluded to dine
with Tom Pelson, Mrs Noel was at Mr Nelsons and
was enquiring of me when you would be here,- )
and said she intends visiting you when you come let-it-be
sooner ot later, I saw Mr Frazar at church, who,
