Not hearing from you for
several months I had come to the conclusion
that all were well or you certainly would
write. but in receiving a letter from Jerrie
and Georgiana they informed me of your
misfortune which I was very sorry to
hear of but the Lord giveth and he take-
eth away you must try and bear it as
it is the Lord's will that he should die
I know that it is almost heart mending to
you but perhaps it is all for the best
and try to meet him in Heaven
