My Dear Daughter )
I received your letter several
weeks ago but delayed answering until now as
I had nothing of importance to write it is all that
I can do to see how to write and you must not
expect me to write often but will be very glad
to hear from you at any time, make Anna Eliza
write Tell Toddy that she must learn to write
and write to her Ma I received a letter from
Georgianna about ten days ago She said that
Lou had fallen out of the door ten feet high
and sprained her ankle and was not able to
walk Georgia is very anxious to come home but
I think it useless for to come I have not heard
from Jerrie for some time I fear that he has
the Measles as they have them in Coledge

me to give her best love to you and when
you come again She intends Spending a day with
you at least Mrs Weston says She intends
visiting you this Summer Mrs Hunger says
perhaps that she may go In your letter you
mentioned that Mr. Calloway expected to visit Holmes
