Your last letter dated
June 1st and the one previous, 12 pa-
ges long, have both been received, The
letter reached me the day before we
left Ivon Station [Ivor?] for this place, and
I should have answered it imme-
diately, but have been all the time
moving. Yours of the 1st was received
yesterday, and this morning I pro-
pose to answer both in one. Your letter
were long and interesting and place
me under an obligation that it will
require much time to discharge. We
are again in sight of Fredericksburg
