My dear Sister_ )
I arrived home safely -
got here before night, so was not exposed
to the chilly air very much - All were
very glad to see me, and all well except -
ing Lissie - she had eaten too much
fish, and it disagreed with her, gave
her cholera morbus, was quite sick all
night, but is up to-day - looks badly, I hope
she will soon be entirely well-
I hope you are still improving - you must
not sit up too long at a time - lie down and
rest often - Wish I was near you so I could
run in every day to see you and fix some
thing for you. Perhaps I will get an opportuni
ty to go to see you again before a great while,"
I certainly will not let so long a time
elapse before I go again, for if God spares
us I will go - if we never meet again on
