So you think I slighted your epistle by no means but I had written one to you and that was the first to Lucy. so now swallow down all your vexation of spirit and prepare to read this. my letters to the north have been quite frequent recently. I have written to Cornelia and to Eddy. I forgot to put this bit of cambric in his so now for a letter to you I know you must become attached to Holyoke if you remain there much longer. I think it is strange that you have not heard from Washington I have heard only twice. that was when I first reached here nothing was said either by Mrs. Jones or [Clive] about the school there. I never have
