at last I have found a few moments time for writing to you but really since my return there has not been many such- two nurses for two babies takes away a good deal of my help so for the present I am stitching away after the old sort Baby No. 1 (alias Tom) has been terribly afflicted with sores on his head and now he has one on his neck and this morning the one under his arm broke. it was as large as a goose egg and the most angry looking sore I ever saw. he has not worn any thing but a skirt for a week but to day he is dancing around, he is the [illegible word], worst spoiled child you ever saw, he speaks several words very
