Dear Sister
I do not know whether I owe you a letter or not but will write any way as I am not ceremonious you know but my box has come and I have unpacked. will to morrow cut off the carpet and have it made also the oil cloth. Mr. Gerdine wore his new suit to day for the first time it fits him beautifully in every respect. Billie did not like his the coat was too short he thought though in fact it is all the style and changed with Joe. they fit Joe well so they did Billy. Mr. Gerdine says he will not get a broadcloth suit this fall as he will not need it until spring and his crop is too poor. we are going to be
