	I rec�d yours of the 2nd Jan a few days since and hasten to reply. About the business matters of which you spoke. I know nothing in the world and wish you and William to use your own judgment about the division. I will be satisfied with whatever you do. You spoke of Lucy�s (D. bills). I spent about fifty dollars for her traveling expenses from Richmond physicians prescription about twenty five or over expenses of burial about thirty now I do not wish any thing said about it, without it will be to your advantage. If you think best, deduct whatever you and William think proper and put the avails away for your children. I do not care for any of it. The portion that falls to me I would not take out at all from the estate if Mother had done like any body else but the way she has managed to deceive Father and send supplies to Cornelia has disgusted me. Furthermore she is as able to work as any of us and I do not think it any charity to assist her."
	I think if the land is divided and William wants the land he had better keep mine too. If the land is sold, and the money divided I will take mine and get him a Monument or use it [illegible] for us as it will go in putting our lot in order at the grave yard.
