Dear Sister
I am up again as you will see remained in bed three weeks to please every body and am feeling very well now. The boy is the healthiest, fattest, prettiest merriest little thing ever was seen. He looks to me like Pet has the same brown hair dark eyes and round face and is given up to be the prettiest thing in this county by every body. His father says it is the first pretty young baby he ever saw notwithstanding this is No. 14 that he has had in his life. Lizzie has hers & Mr. Sykes says he will swap with me his is so ugly.
