about those risings under your arms are they going away do they give you any trouble at all? I think Dr. Dale & Mrs. Doleful with their big doses of Calomel have got you all right. if you had taken it a year sooner you might never have had them. I am glad you like your teeth next year get a wig and you will look fine. I think I shall have to get one. Love to all Sister"

Dear Sister"
The years are fast flying- I have not had time to write you this year before Christmas vacation which I had looked forward to with expectation of quiet and rest passed and left me about as it found me. we have had a terribly rainy, dreary winter warm enough to be sure, as I wrote you before the flowers are blooming in the yard violets and hyacinths, the latter always make me feel sad as they remind me of Lucy. The verbenas are also in bloom but as far as eye can reach nearly the county is one sheet of water. Chapin & Lynne have just recovered from the measles but I am keeping them close for fear they will take cold.
I bought a pack of early [illegible word] Potatoes for planting last week not nearly as nice as yours for 60 cts pr. pack and sighed as I thought of the nice ones stored away in your cellar. I am glad that you enjoy your fellowship meetings so much & sorry that we have no one to fellowship with. I am sorry that Edward can see no way through his affairs. but do not quite understand
