Dear [sister] it is with (missing)[pleasure] that I seat myself to write you (missing) letter to inform you how we (missing) This leaves all of us enjoying fine health I have been [sick] since I arrive but I am geting about strait again I think that I will be all right in afew days comeing out in the open air did not agree with me at all I caught cold and also had a very high fever with it yesterday. Sister we recieved orders from Gen Johnson yesterday to get ready to go back to our regiment we will leave to night for [Canton] that was where our regiment was when we heard from it last There is two companys out of the 1st Alabama regt that has relieve us here Leaveing this place have broken into some of the boys arrangements I think that there was good many of them [wanting] to get [off home alright] but I think that is all played out now I hate to leave this place
