I receved yours of the 25th Dec. and answered it in a few days after I sent my letter by (Mr. Leigh) one of our company who was discharged and coming home. I have never receved any answer to it and I expect he lost it. and you never receved it. Dr. Crump is going to start home in the morning and I will send this by him, we are still in camp at Davis Ford and no prospect of a fight soon, the wether has been verry cold for sometime and we have had a great deel of snow & rain witch has made the roads allmost
