Dear Cousin
Since Willie's return he tells me so much of you & your kindness while on a visit to Dr. C, What I imagine you would appreciate — a leter from his Sallie. I have written to some members of the family before once or twice
I think to _ not receiving an answer caused me to
stop writing, nothing affords me more pleasure than receiving & answering letters particular my relations. When I say relations of course Willies friends and relations are mine Hopeing you consider me a member of the family & think of me as I do you, although one here never quiet — If you could know me persoly I think you would not hesitate to answer my letters
While from _ this summer my health improve
a great deal since my return. I have been having third day chills & indeed made me quite sick
I have _ my chills this week, am up, not -well.
improveing sloely. Willie has a severe cold caused from being up with the sick, in bed today. I hope nothing serious the children are well. Jimmie has sore eyes. Ma has not visiteed me since she came home. she writes that she will come next week & spend some time with us. I am happy to know that Ma has made a visit — you all. she seemed so anxious to visit the old homestead & relations once again — that I was delighted to hear that she & Willie had gone chrildren can never no never pay theire parents for the care & trouble they have for & with them particular my mother, Willie is an exception & I love him the more for his kindness to Ma. Mr. Carpenter was over last week looking at a farm joining ours thinks of buying if he can get a place he likes better than this present home. Low was very well. Willie is quite buisy gathering _ crop. labor scarce. he is working hard himself.
