time
to

you
a
few
lines
to
let
you
know
that
I
am
well
at this
time
and would be
glad
to
know
that
you

well
at this
time

glad
to
see
you

at this
time
our
Army

in
Maryland
and are
going
on
through
and the
[?]
ar
joining
our
army
every
day
by
thousands
I
have
seen
some
of then and they are
fine
looking
men
I
would be
glad
to be
thru
with them but there has been
some
hard
fighting
but
we
run
them
every
time
they
cannont
stand
here and
I
am
glad
that they
cannot
for if they would
stand
they would
kill
a
great
many
of
our
men.
"
I
think
there
soon
will be
peace
made
we
are
whiping
then
so
bad
that they are
bound
to
give
up
the
ghost
they
know
that there
is
no
use
for them to
fight
our
men
for they are
like
dogs
to
fight.
"
I
have not
got
time
to
write
mutch
this
time
.
I
would be
glad
