I HAVE recently returned from a trip to India and the Far East
sponsored by the Detroit Board of Commerce. It was a Trade
and Good Will Tour and covered in a business way the larger cities
of India and of several other Far Eastern countries including Thailand,
Malaya, Hongkong and Japan. Since the trip had the encouragement
and cooperation of our State Department, in each city we had a meet-
