Paul Gerry has been appointed to serve
for 1961-62 as Chairman of the Sub-
Committee on Tax Information of the
Public Relations Committee of the
Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
Chicago
On October 30 Robert Trueblood addressed
the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants' Annual Meeting,
held in Chicago. His subject was
"Specialization and Educational Problems."
H. Justin Davidson spoke at the accounting
session of the American Association
of State Highway Officials on
October 11 in Denver, Colorado. His
subject: "An Untapped Financial Management
Tool—Statistical Sampling."
William Schwanbeck addressed the
Toledo, Ohio Tax Forum on travel and
entertainment expenses on November
13.
Messrs. Trueblood and Davidson
collaborated on an article entitled "Accounting
for Decision Making" which
appeared in the October 1961 issue of
the Accounting Review.
John Bly passed the Wisconsin Bar
Examination. Two Chicago staff men,
Royal Cox and Bertil Gustafson, recently
became members of AICPA.
Robert Trueblood will be serving
the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants in the following
