Boston
On June 10 a picnic and softball game
gave the Boston Office members, their
wives and children an opportunity to
get together for a day's outing which
was held at Houghton's Pond in
Milton.
About 20 members of the Boston
Office staff and their wives attended a
Welcome-Back-To-Boston party given
by the Walter Barkers in Cochituate
for Don and Jo Ann Keller.
Chicago
Henry Korff has been appointed vice-chairman
of the Reception Committee
of the Union League Club for the
current fiscal year.
The West Suburban Chapter of the
Junior Chamber of Commerce has
elected Joseph Brusherd, Jr. its vice
president in charge of internal affairs.
James Bragg is serving as Republican
precinct captain in Arlington
Heights, Illinois.
Denver
The annual office picnic took place
on June 24 and was again held at
Genessee Mountain. After the barbecue
the more energetic members
participated in a game of softball.
Arthur Samelson has been appointed
a resident trustee of the
National Jewish Hospital at Denver.
Donald Shore has been elected secretary
of the Colorado Cee Gee's, Inc.,
a boat demonstration team.
Detroit
Al M. Mlot was re-elected a director
of the Metropolitan Alumni Club of
the University of Detroit in May.
Rosemary Hoban was recently appointed
chairman of the Finance Committee
for the Women's City Club of
Detroit.
Serving as advisors for the Junior
Achievement Company sponsored by
the Detroit Office in 1962-62 will be
Elmer M. Houghton, Laurance A.
Solomonson, James R. Anderson, and
Arman Asher.
Dallas
Brookhaven Country Club was the
scene of the Dallas Office annual staff
outing on June 14. Special guest was
Wendy Lloyd, former Detroit Office
staff man, now employed by a TRB&S
client. The day's activities included
golf, swimming, tennis, Texas-size
steaks and cards.
Dayton
On June 15, approximately 35 members
of the Dayton staff grabbed their
rusty golf clubs and headed for the
annual golf outing at the Troy Country
Club. The heavily wooded course
presented some difficulties to many of
the truly annual golfers. This group,
however, met the challenge, leaving
