Only once before in the history of the Firm have more H&S offices had successful candidates in a CPA Examination than in
last May's exam. The thirty-seven offices range from smallest to largest and from oldest to newest. Nine of the men listed
below are in six offices opened within the last four years. • In competition for the American Institute's Elijah Watt Sells
Awards, honorable mention was received by Herbert William Wakeford. Herb joined H&S in Minneapolis after graduating
from the University of Minnesota in 1957. In i960 he left the Firm for experience in industry, but has recently returned to
H&S with the Charlotte office.
