Successful Candidates in the CPA Examination, May 1973
The May 1973 CPA examination found H&S
candidates in rare form, for among the
232 H&S accountants completing the
examination were three who received national
or state recognition for their high grades.
Staff accountant Robert D. Harris of our
Chicago office won the AICPA's Elijah Watt
Sells silver medal for obtaining, with one other
candidate, the second highest grades among
the 29,668 accountants writing the exam.
Our Boston office has earned the unusual
distinction of having two of its people, Eugene
L. Fisher and Harold F. Oberkotter, Jr., win
Certificates of Honorable Mention. Mr.
Oberkotter received the gold medal from the
Massachusetts Society of CPAs, while Mr.
Fisher was awarded the state's silver medal.
Congratulations to all of the successful
candidates listed here.
