Abstract	This guide has been compiled for the benefit of my brother vestrymen in the Diocese, who lack the thirty years' experience I have had as such. If I were to commence by saying, "All the information of the relations of the parish to the diocese and general Church is contained in your parish bylaws" how many rectors and vestrymen would question such a statement? Everyone? Well, I believe the majority would—and they would be wrong. Besides references to canons dealing with financial matters, a brief definition is given of the various governing bodies of the Church and some explanations of such related matters as loan funds, Church pension fund, workmen's compensation insurance, special offerings, useful publications, legal titles for bequests and so forth.
