Opened in 1848, the University of Mississippi’s history covers some of Mississippi’s, as well as the nation’s, most crucial time periods to date. The Department of Archives and Special Collections holds many documents relating to this history. Some of this archival materials in this digital collection include original minutes from the Board of Trustees, as well as documents relating to administrative figures, faculty, students, and alumni not found in larger collections.
